Where Quality Counts
Balpaca ranch is owned and operated by Fran and Mike Balchus in Peyton, Colorado. The ranch lies under the gaze of Pike's Peak at an altitude of 7,500 feet which approximates the natural environment of the alpaca species. Our ranch is located about 25 miles east of Colorado Springs, and about 65 miles south of Denver. Our herd ranges anywhere from 15 to 20 huacaya males and females at any given time, all with lineage of the highest quality.
OUR ULTIMATE GOALS ARE SIMPLE. TO BREED AND PRODUCE EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY ALPACAS, AND TO ESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS. WE DON'T WANT CLIENTS, WE WANT FRIENDS, AND WE INVITE YOU TO SHARE THIS DREAM WITH US.
